Precision Catalysts provides Catalytic Static Mixers (CSM’s) to be used in flow reactors for the purpose of on-demand, scalable molecular synthesis and chemical manufacture.
Catalytic Static Mixers are a novel immobilised catalyst system, based on 3D printed mixer scaffolds containing a catalytic active layer.
A variety of different active catalysts can be deposited on the metal mixer, allowing employment in many different classes of heterogeneous chemical reactions, such as hydrogenation, oxidation, C-C coupling, C-N coupling, nitro reduction, triple bond, carbonyl reaction and many more.
CSM’s bring together the modern-day Philosopher’s Stone – catalysts – with flow reactor chemical synthesis.
Our Catalytic Static Mixers are available in several different scaffold and catalytic configurations.
Precision has licensed rights to make, market and sell CSM elements protected by CSIRO Patent Applications and Registered Designs.
